Trapped in a golden cage,
Tormented and full of rage.
She is a bird with broken wings,
Feet tangled in ropes and strings.
Locked away forever,
Why is life cruel and clever?
Sad songs she sweetly sings,
For her it’s autumn, never spring!
The deadly games that life plays,
Exhausted are her nights and days.
She often clashes with the sky,
Why is she not allowed to die?
